The Oyo children's helmet offers safe and easy use for little hands.
The shell, made using in-mould technology, is complemented by 10 ventilation openings for optimal air circulation to the head.
Innovative safety features include Uvex xTRA Shield forehead protection, temple guards, and Uvex KID PROtect at the rear of the head, acting as an impact absorber while preventing the head from sliding during rides in a child seat.
Safe and comfortable helmet adjustment is facilitated by the FAS, Monomatic, and anatomical IAS systems.

In-Mold technology can be found most often in bicycle and ski helmets. The principle consists in injecting compressed polystyrene into a polycarbonate shell at high temperatures and pressures (approx. 330°C). This connection ensures high strength at very low weight. Polystyrene absorbs energy in the event of an impact, but it deforms, which is why the helmet must be replaced after a major impact.
