Not all young aspiring professionals start their cycling journey at the same age. While the woom 1 balance bike is primarily designed for little ones from one and a half years, the Woom 1 PLUS perfectly mobilizes kids from three years and introduces them to the world of cycling through play. This balance bike comes with a SURFBOARD footrest, where little acrobats can place their feet to glide on their balance bike as if riding through the clouds.

The woom 1 PLUS balance bike features a lightweight and well-crafted AA-6061 aluminum frame with butted tubes and beginner-friendly geometry, which includes 14″ wheels, an extremely low top tube, a very low seat position, a long wheelbase, and steering geometry that forgives mistakes and ensures stability, providing great balance and enhancing the enjoyment of the ride. The super-light forged aluminum stem, 40 mm in length with a +15° angle, is designed without protruding bolts, making it knee-friendly for kids, and comes equipped with two Allen screws (5 mm) for secure handlebar attachment.

Wide, ergonomically adapted, and lightweight BMX-style aluminum handlebars with a high rise for maximum adjustment range, sandblasted and black anodized, have a grip area diameter of 19 mm, which is suitable even for very small hands, and a width of 500 mm. The woom Ergogrip grips are the smallest of their kind with an ergonomically shaped surface made of child-safe material and ends with an extra-large diameter for better protection, securely fastened to the handlebars thanks to a screw-on mechanism.

The balance bike comes equipped with two independently operated mini V-brakes with a child-specific lever ratio and ergonomically fitting brake lever with reach adjustment, suitable even for very small children's hands, paired with high-quality Jagwire cables with reduced friction and smooth operation. The rear brake is equipped with a striking green brake lever and matching brake pads to differentiate the front and rear brakes.

The wheels are fitted with super-light Soopa Doopa Hoops aluminum rims with narrow, lightweight aluminum hubs with sealed bearings and an especially narrow hub at the rear for extra foot space. The assembly and disassembly are easy with a 5 mm Allen key, and 16 light, extra-robust crossed stainless steel spoke wires ensure strength and stability. The Schwalbe Little Joe 14 x 1.4″ woom edition tires offer good cushioning, low rolling resistance, and a secure grip, equipped with car-like valves for easy inflation at any gas station and reflective strips on the sides for optimal visibility even in poor lighting conditions.

Ergonomically adapted seat is designed with children's pelvic bones in mind and made of non-toxic material with side protection for leaning against house walls. The woom footrest composed of high-quality maple plywood is varnished and features anti-slip tape, and is pre-mounted on the balance bike.
