The Ximo 2 MIPS kids’ cycling helmet was designed for little adventurers who love movement and exploring the world on a bike, balance bike, or scooter.

The helmet is equipped with a height-adjustable 360° system, with the MIPS layer integrated directly into it. Thanks to this, the helmet fits perfectly and ensures maximum safety on every ride.
The lightweight inmold construction also contributes to the low weight of just 230 g, ensuring high comfort even during longer wear.

Mips is a technology in the form of a special yellow insert inside the helmet, which has the task of reducing rotational forces acting on the head and brain in the event of a crash or fall while riding a bicycle. In principle, Mips works between two layers of the helmet shell, which rotate in relation to each other during a fall. This technology is being used by more and more major and minor helmet manufacturers, so if a helmet has this technology, you can tell by the small yellow logo on the outside of the helmet. Currently there are about 5 kinds of Mips system.
In-Mold technology can be found most often in bicycle and ski helmets. The principle consists in injecting compressed polystyrene into a polycarbonate shell at high temperatures and pressures (approx. 330°C). This connection ensures high strength at very low weight. Polystyrene absorbs energy in the event of an impact, but it deforms, which is why the helmet must be replaced after a major impact. Helmets produced by In-Mold technology and associated have a weight of 350-550 g.
