Apache e-bikes use a closed Bafang system - motor, battery, display, control unit, electrical cables, and charger are from the same company (similar to the BOSCH system). This complete system has been tested and certified over the long term, so it works better, more stably, and provides higher performance and range than systems with components from various manufacturers.

Our view:
This higher model of Bafang is more powerful, more sophisticated and even more design-forward than the M400. The M510 is meant to be a competitor to the proven brands, and in mild to medium terrain it is, and in unpaved terrain you can tell the difference from the TOP engines. However, for most riders, it's a fully sufficient engine that has the advantage of a nice price point.

A special feature of this battery is the increase in voltage to 48V, which allows you to use larger cells, with the same battery size, and increase your range.
The clear colour LCD display shows not only basic information on battery status and the level of assistance currently used, but also other data related to the ride (speed, distance travelled, etc.). The display is also equipped with a USB connector for charging mobile devices (phone, navigation, lighting, etc.). It is most often found on electric bikes with Bafang motor.
The display shows the speed on the main panel, at the bottom centre you can see the level of assistance.
At the bottom of the display you can use the "i" button to change the information displayed - current speed, average speed, trip, total distance and range.
