Beany Blaster XC 27.5 kids’ bike white is a junior mountain bike designed for fast off-road riding, pumptrack, and kids’ XC racing. It’s aimed at more experienced kids and juniors who want low weight and a functional build without unnecessary complexity. In the lineup, it sits as a sporty hardtail focused on pedaling efficiency and control on technical trails.

Size 13.5" is recommended by the manufacturer for a rider height of 140 - 160 cm.
Size 15" is recommended by the manufacturer for a rider height of 150 - 170 cm.

Frame and geometry

The frame is made from 6061 aluminum alloy with triple-butted tubing, reducing weight while maintaining strength. The geometry was developed with kids’ ergonomics in mind and supports a stable riding position without overloading the rider. The bike is available in 13.5" and 15" sizes for rider heights from 140 to 170 cm. A 65° head angle adds composure on descents, and the 437 mm chainstay length helps maintain traction while pedaling.

Components

Drivetrain: Shimano SL-U4000 CUES shifting is set up as 1x9. The Shimano RD-U4000 CUES rear derailleur works with a Shimano CS-LG300-9 11–41T cassette and a Shimano CN-LG500 Linkglide chain.

Brakes: Braking is handled by Shimano hydraulic disc brakes front and rear. Control is via Shimano hydraulic brake levers.

Wheels and tires: The wheels are 27.5 and use Solely.jr alloy double-wall rims. KENDA 27.5x2.10 tires with a 120 TPI casing and a kevlar bead support low rolling resistance as well as confident cornering.

Cockpit: Solely jr. alloy handlebars are 680 mm wide, and the Solely jr. alloy stem is 40 mm long. The Solely.jr alloy seatpost is 350 mm long, and the saddle is Beany.

Ride characteristics

The aluminum frame with a rigid Beany alloy 6061 fork transfers power directly into forward motion with no losses from suspension. The combination of a 65° head angle and 27.5" wheels adds stability on faster descents and rough surfaces. The 1x9 drivetrain with an 11–41T range simplifies gear choice and keeps the chainline clean. The 2.10" tire width helps with traction on dirt and gravel while still rolling well on road sections.
