The Bell Spark 2 Jr. is a versatile children's MTB helmet suitable for various disciplines such as trail, XC, and all-mountain.
The helmet features a proven In-mold Polycarbonate Shell construction with 13 ventilation openings, which, together with the Ergo Fit retention system, ensures maximum safety and comfort.
In-Mold technology can be found most often in bicycle and ski helmets. The principle consists in injecting compressed polystyrene into a polycarbonate shell at high temperatures and pressures (approx. 330°C). This connection ensures high strength at very low weight. Polystyrene absorbs energy in the event of an impact, but it deforms, which is why the helmet must be replaced after a major impact. Helmets produced by In-Mold technology and associated have a weight of 350-550 g.
