Cannondale Moterra Carbon – A New Era of All-Mountain eMTB
Cannondale introduces a completely redesigned Moterra Carbon model for 2025 – a versatile mountain e-bike that combines maximum performance with low weight and precise handling. New Full-Carbon Frame
The Moterra Carbon boasts a new full carbon frame that is nearly 1 kg lighter than the previous generation. Along with updated e-system components, it offers greater agility, better handling, and a lightweight feel even on challenging trails. The suspension is managed by a 160mm travel fork and a 150mm travel shock, which, combined with 29-inch wheels, ensures an excellent balance between confidence in technical sections and agility in twisty terrain. The result is a bike that climbs with ease and descends with confidence.
Refined Geometry and Kinematics
The new geometry features a lower bottom bracket, higher stack, shorter reach, and a steeper seat angle – all in the name of better stability, comfort, and control. Combined with newly tuned suspension kinematics that boost traction and comfort during braking, the Moterra behaves confidently and predictably in any situation.
Powerful Drive and Range
The heart of the bike is the latest Bosch Performance Line CX 5th generation motor, offering quiet, smooth, and powerful performance. Two battery options are available – 800Wh or a lighter 600Wh – with an optional 250Wh Bosch PowerMore extender. The total range can thus reach up to 1050Wh – ideal for all-day expeditions.
Smart Details
The new “Trail HeadsUp” features elegant integration of the Bosch Kiox 500 or 300 display directly into the stem. This keeps the cockpit clean and organized. A hidden kickstand mount, fully internal cable routing, 29" wheels, and the option to fit according to your own style make the Moterra Carbon a truly adaptable machine.
