Crussis e-Country AX MTB 8.12-M2(800) is a low-step electric mountain bike designed for trail rides, forest roads, and everyday commuting on rougher surfaces. The concept is built around the powerful Avinox mid-drive motor and a 27.5" platform with wide tires. The spec targets the higher performance tier among hardtails, where the key factors are the combination of range, traction, and control.
The frame is made from Alu 6061 aluminum alloy and uses a low-step design for easier handling both off-road and in the city. The head tube is a tapered 1 1/8"–1.5" with integrated ICR cable routing, which streamlines the cockpit layout. Front suspension is handled by an SR-Suntour XCM32 LO DS fork for 27.5" wheels with 100 mm of travel. The fork features a lockout directly on the crown, so you can reduce bobbing when riding on asphalt.
Drivetrain: SRAM S100 Eagle shifters and rear derailleur run in a 1x12 configuration. The SRAM CS PG1210 Eagle Drivetrain cassette has an 11–50T range, paired with a SRAM X-Sync Eagle 38T chainring.
Brakes: Shimano BR-MT200 hydraulic disc brakes use a two-piston caliper. The rotors are 180 mm front and rear.
Wheels and tires: Crussis 27.5" disc double-wall rims have an inner width of 30 mm. Schwalbe Smart Sam K-Guard tires in 27.5x2.60" improve traction on dirt and stability when leaning into corners.
Cockpit: Crussis ALU handlebars are 760 mm wide with a 31.8 mm clamp diameter. The Crussis AL stem is 50 mm long, and the Crussis seatpost uses a 30.9 mm diameter.
The combination of 27.5" wheels and 2.60" tires pushes this hardtail toward higher traction on roots and gravel. Boost axles 15x110 mm and 12x148 mm support more precise line holding under braking and through faster corners. The 100 mm travel and the option to lock out the fork help maintain efficiency on transfers and long climbs. The Avinox M2 2026 motor with 110 Nm of torque keeps the pace even with a heavier rider and on steeper climbs.
This model is for riders who want an electric mountain bike with easy step-through access, while still offering the power needed for hilly terrain. It’s a good fit for experienced cyclists who prioritize stability, traction, and a functional gear range with 1x12. Compared to softer trekking e-bikes, it offers wider tires and more robust hubs with thru-axles.
