The Blacklight 88 are lightweight skis made of 100% carbon, offering impressive performance in alpine terrain and all snow conditions. Weighing only 1080 g / 164 cm, they are the lightest Dynafit skis.
They are suitable for ambitious skiers who enjoy technical terrain in all conditions.
The top layer is made of 100% UD carbon. This carbon is significantly stronger in tension and more durable while maintaining lower density.
The core is made of 100% Paulownia wood. The effective edge length is evenly proportional to each size, allowing it to function independently of size. The skis are built with a full ABS sidewall for excellent power transfer. The base features a special race finish.
The Blacklight Long Travel bindings are 420-gram ski touring bindings with brakes combining the features of climbing and classic ski touring bindings.
The bindings have a bayonet lock on the heel for extreme power transfer from the bindings to the skis.
Step-In side towers facilitate boot entry into the toe. They also increase stability during descents.
Using a pole, two heel heights can be quickly adjusted. Crampon attachments are possible.
Lateral release is DIN 5-12. Vertical release is fixed.
Pomoca skins prevent awkward snow adhesion and also provide excellent glide and grip.
A special membrane prevents water absorption. The skins are tear-resistant and can be folded well. The intelligent DYNAFIT tensioning system provides an ideal connection between the skins and the ski tip.
