Motor - Bosch Performance Line CX - Smart System

Powerful and dynamic drive for intuitive handling and a unique riding experience. It keeps up with you right up to the limit - for even more riding pleasure on technically challenging terrain. It is the strongest Bosch engine with a maximum torque of 85 Nm. In the Smart System, the power unit is completely connected to the other components of your eBike. With the eBike Flow app, you can use digital functions such as activity tracking and eBike Lock to keep your eBike up-to-date in the future.

Our View:
Performance Line CX - the number one performance motor not only in the Bosch eBike System, but also one of the TOP  motors used in electric bikes across the global range. Of course it has competition, most notably in our view the Yamaha PW-X3. But where Bosch absolutely crushes the competition is in external serviceability. Colour displays, display environment and the best diaganostics through the service environment. In the smart system, there is also connectivity especially through the eBike Flow app.

Battery - Bosch 600 Wh

The battery is one of the most valuable components of an e-bike. It often makes up a third of the total cost of the e-bike. There are several parameters that influence the e-bike’s range: the type of terrain, tire profiles, rider's weight, used assistance, etc. You can read more in our blog.

The advantage of Bosch batteries is a very high-quality BMS (battery management system). The BMS, thanks to temperature and voltage sensors, can activate and deactivate individual cells to prevent significant reduction in range and to ensure the longest possible lifespan of the battery itself.

This type of battery is interchangeable with 800 Wh and is the latest addition to Bosch eBike, introduced in September 2024.

Displej - Bosch Kiox 300 & 500 - Smart System

Kiox 300 and Kiox 500 are displays for the Smart System and also your robust and intelligent companions. Without a doubt they are the most used displays of the Smart System. They can be intuitively operated via the control unit, are compatible and protected against splashing water and dust. The Kiox 300 was the first one here and perhaps the only occasionally mentioned minus was the size. Bosch listened to customer pleas and enlarged the display by 40% and named it the Kiox 500. The ideal use is in conjunction with the LED Remote control unit mentioned above.

Bosch LED Remote

LED Remote connects your eBike to the eBike Flow app. It allows easy access to all important riding data and is intuitive to use - your hands stay safely on the handlebars. You can change riding modes, use push assistance and control the display or Ride screen on your smartphone. With the Smart System, you can make updates to your eBike yourself using the LED Remote.

ABS

Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (abbreviated ABS) is an amorphous thermoplastic industrial copolymer that is resistant to mechanical stress. Rigid, tough, resistant to low and high temperatures, low absorbency, harmless to health. It is resistant to acids, hydroxides, hydrocarbons, oils, fats.

C.I.S.

C.I.S (Cockpit Integration Solution) is a specific wiring harness system for mechanical shifting, running on the handlebars through the stem and headset to the head tube. For optimal shifting and braking quality, there is a large bend to keep all cables running smoothly. Only this sufficient flex ensures that in the long run no shifting problems due to wear occur.

F.O.L.D.

F.O.L.D. (FOCUS OPTIMIZED LINKAGE DESIGN) is a patented triangular rear construction system where the suspension path is divided into two phases. In the first phase, the suspension is extremely responsive and absorbs even the smallest bumps and dips to create extra traction. In the second phase, the structure offers sufficient control even in the strongest impacts while preventing damage to the rim. In general, the suspension travel is much longer.
