Description

The new Fox fork with a 44 mm offset, 15x110 mm mounting, and ultra-light Kabolt-SL axle represents the pinnacle in the category of lightweight XC forks.

The 34 SL model was designed for the most technically demanding World Cup tracks, responding to the growing demands of racers who require light weight, increased travel, and maximum stiffness.

With 34 mm stanchions and 130 mm travel, it sets a new standard for capability in the short travel bike segment.

Unlike the previous 34 Step-Cast model, the 34 SL does not have slimmed-down lower legs. This allows for a larger air chamber volume and 130 mm travel without increasing weight.

The new model also features a redesigned lower arch created using generative design. The result is 17% higher torsional stiffness and better tire clearance.

The new 7000 series alloy crown helps reduce overall weight with larger internal relief holes and a sleek black anodized finish.

Compared to the previous generation, the fork also has 20% larger bushing overlap, ensuring smoother operation and better stability in challenging terrain, especially at higher speeds.

Damping is managed by the newly developed GRIP SL cartridge, designed specifically for short travel forks, optimizing pedaling efficiency and delivering exceptional ride quality.

The bypass channels have been moved from the rear to the inside, resulting in increased sensitivity to small bumps and reduced dynamic friction.

Weight reduction emphasis is reflected in the use of the Kabolt SL axle (savings of 12 g), double-butted stanchions (savings of 9 g), and optimized lower legs. Thanks to these changes, the 34 SL fork weighs only 1503 grams in the 29" version with 130 mm travel and GRIP SL cartridge.

The FOX 34 SL fork pushes the boundaries of what's possible with short travel suspension. It is designed for race conditions and aggressive trail riding where every gram counts, yet stiffness and precise handling cannot be compromised. Combined with other SL range components such as the Float SL and Transfer SL, it forms the lightest XC suspension system on the market. The entire ecosystem is 333 grams lighter than the closest mechanical competition and 489 grams lighter than electronic solutions, while offering greater maximum travel.

This particular model is supplied without a remote lever, which must be ordered separately. The Fox 34 SL is built for XC and ready for any challenge—whether you're aiming for the top of a climb or a technical descent.
