The Anthem Advanced Pro 29 is an ultra-light, all-carbon XC bike specifically designed for current cross-country tracks.
These are both technically and physically demanding and require a high level of skill from both the rider and the bike. With the new FlexPoint rear suspension and modern geometry, this bike is ready for the toughest XC races. It will excel in technically challenging sections, fast descents, and steep climbs.
Advanced Composite - the new frame is entirely made of carbon fiber, resulting in a significant reduction in weight. Compared to the previous version, this frame is 250 grams lighter. The bottom bracket area is reinforced for greater stiffness, ensuring faster acceleration. The seat tube has a steep angle of 75.5°, which allows the rider to maintain an ideal position for maximum efficiency on climbs.
FlexPoint Pro rear suspension is specifically designed for XC riding and racing and offers 100 mm of smooth and responsive travel. This suspension uses a technically linked single-pivot, a tried and tested rear structure solution. The fork travel has been increased to 110 mm and the fork angle is slacker (67.5° head angle), providing better control over the bike during fast and challenging descents.
The frame geometry and suspension setup of the new Anthem Advanced Pro 29 are specially designed for 29" wheels. The frame features a longer reach, which refers to a greater horizontal distance from the bottom bracket to the top of the head tube. Additionally, the cockpit has been redesigned with wider handlebars measuring 35 mm in diameter and 760 mm in length. These modifications further enhance the bike's stability in demanding XC terrain and at higher speeds.
High-performance raw carbon material with a high stiffness-to-weight ratio is used to produce the custom Advanced Composite material. The front triangle of the frame is assembled and molded as one continuous piece (monocoque) using a proprietary manufacturing process called Modified Monocoque Construction.
The FlexPoint Pro rear suspension with 100mm travel was designed for XC riding and racing and delivers high efficiency and responsive handling. It's a linkage-driven, single-pivot design which takes advantage of the flexibility of the rear triangle with no mechanical pivot and no lower link. It’s engineered with a full-composite swingarm that significantly reduces overall frame weight.
