The Anthem Advanced Pro 29 is an ultra-lightweight full-carbon XC bike designed specifically for modern cross-country courses.
These courses are both technically and physically demanding, requiring a high level of skill from both the rider and the bike. Featuring the new FlexPoint suspension and modern geometry, this bike is ready for the toughest XC races. It excels in technically challenging sections, fast descents, and steep climbs.
Advanced Composite - the new frame is made entirely of carbon fiber, leading to a significant weight reduction. Compared to the previous version, this frame is 250 grams lighter. The frame's center is reinforced to achieve greater stiffness, ensuring faster acceleration. The seat tube has a steep angle of 75.5°, allowing the rider an ideal position for maximum efficiency during climbs.
Rear FlexPoint Pro suspension is specifically designed for XC riding and racing, offering 100 mm of smooth and active travel. This suspension is technically a single-pivot linkage, a proven and well-known rear suspension solution. The fork travel has been increased to 110 mm, and the fork is set at a slacker angle (67.5° head angle), providing better control over the bike during fast and challenging descents.
Frame geometry and the suspension setup of the new Anthem Advanced Pro 29 are specifically designed for 29" wheels. The frame features a longer reach, which means a greater horizontal distance from the bike's center to the center of the top of the head tube. Additionally, the cockpit has been redesigned, featuring wider handlebars with a diameter of 35 mm and a length of 760 mm. These adjustments further enhance the stability of the bike in demanding XC terrain and at higher speeds.
High-performance raw carbon material with a high stiffness-to-weight ratio is used to produce the custom Advanced Composite material. The front triangle of the frame is assembled and molded as one continuous piece (monocoque) using a proprietary manufacturing process called Modified Monocoque Construction.
The FlexPoint Pro rear suspension with 100mm travel was designed for XC riding and racing and delivers high efficiency and responsive handling. It's a linkage-driven, single-pivot design which takes advantage of the flexibility of the rear triangle with no mechanical pivot and no lower link. It’s engineered with a full-composite swingarm that significantly reduces overall frame weight.
