Giant Explore E+ 1 STA is a trekking e-bike for commuting, touring, and all-day rides on both asphalt and gravel. It sits in a higher performance category thanks to a high-torque mid-drive motor, a large battery, and electronic shifting. Smart Assist technology calculates the amount of torque, cadence, slope and speed and uses these numbers to determine how much power the engine can add. This engine also supports higher cadences and has a quick onset of torque, so it is an engine that can handle both more brisk riding on the flat and more demanding terrain with steep climbs.
