Whether you decide to ride the new Reigen with both 29" wheels or in the Mullet configuration, this modern enduro machine is designed to push your limits even in extremely challenging terrain. The innovative Maestro rear suspension with increased travel easily handles all the obstacles you encounter on the trail, and the new three-position Flip Chip technology allows you to adjust the frame geometry to suit your needs perfectly.
The updated Maestro rear suspension provides greater travel than previous generations - 160 mm compared to 146 mm. Extreme conditions of EWS racing - the Enduro World Series - were used for tuning and testing. The Trunnion mount shock offers longer travel - 62.5 mm compared to 60 mm in the previous generation. The use of Advanced Forged Composite carbon upper rocker provides the suspension system with the necessary stiffness while reducing its weight.
Thanks to the innovative three-position flip chip (low - medium - high) you can fully customize the bike's geometry according to the terrain, riding style, and the size of the rear wheel. You have the option to choose from three different head tube angles – 63.5, 63.9, or 64.2 degrees, and a corresponding seat tube angle – 78.3, 78.7, or 79 degrees. This change also directly affects the bottom bracket drop, which can be 35, 30, or 25 mm.
The new Reign allows you to flexibly choose whether to keep the 29" rear wheel (the standard equipment of Reign models) or swap it for a 27.5" variant. The larger rear wheel improves stability and obstacle-clearing capability, while the combination of both sizes adds more agility and maneuverability to the bike. It is also possible to change the wheel as needed - quickly and easily, giving you the flexibility to achieve your desired riding characteristics according to the conditions and your riding style.
State-of-the-art aluminum material is made predominantly from 6011 alloy and delivers best-in-class strength-to-weight ratios. These framesets also feature unique welding technologies for a high-performance ride quality.
The rear suspension rocker arm is made from one piece of carbon composite. The essence is the multidirectional deposition of carbon fibers and the innovative manufacturing process of extremely high pressure shaping. The resulting product is lighter and at the same time stiffer and stronger than the same aluminum product.
Four strategically positioned pivot points and two linkages all work together to create a single floating pivot for the most active, efficient and independent suspension system on the trail.
New 3-position flip chip (low/mid/high positions) allows you to fine-tune the bike's geometry to suit the terrain, riding style and rear wheel size (29" or 27.5"). Eccentric inserts located in the Maestro's upper rocker arm are used for this purpose. To adjust to the low and high positions, the inserts rotate, to adjust to the "neutral" position, the low/high inserts are swapped with the medium position inserts. Changing the position of the flip chip has a particular effect on the angle of the head tube and seat tube and will also affect the bottom bracket height.
The oversized fork steerer aims to increase the stiffness of the front of the frameset and steering for precise control. Oversized headset bearings (bottom 1 1/4" and top 1 1/8" on road bikes and bottom 1 1/2" and top 1 1/8" on MTB bikes) and tapered fork steerer are included for optimal steering stiffness .
