Giant Revolt Advanced 3 is the new generation of gravel bikes, offering greater comfort and efficiency for races or day-long adventures.
The Advanced Composite carbon frame is 160 grams lighter than the previous generation, and its modified geometry, with a lower center, extended reach, and steeper head tube angle, delivers enhanced riding characteristics and bike handling.
The seat stays have a smaller diameter, are positioned lower, and, in combination with the carbon D-Fuse seatpost, provide uncompromising absorption of shocks and vibrations while maintaining maximum stiffness for climbing, cornering, or out-of-the-saddle riding.
Thanks to the innovative Flip-Chip dropout system, you can change the wheelbase, with a shorter wheelbase aiding in easier handling and greater agility, for example, in corners, and a longer wheelbase enhancing stability at higher speeds. You can also use up to a 53 mm tire on the rear wheel due to the increased space between the wheel and the frame.
A special adapter allows for seatpost selection, enabling the mounting of a Giant D-Fuse seatpost with the adapter and supporting a standard 30.9 mm round seatpost or even a dropper post without the adapter.
High-performance raw carbon material with a high stiffness-to-weight ratio is used to produce the custom Advanced Composite material. The front triangle of the frame is assembled and molded as one continuous piece (monocoque) using a proprietary manufacturing process called Modified Monocoque Construction.
The D-Fuse seatpost was designed to absorb road shocks and vibrations so you can ride farther, faster. It works by slightly springing the seat post under load, thanks to its specific "D" shape.
The oversized fork steerer aims to increase the stiffness of the front of the frameset and steering for precise control. Oversized headset bearings (bottom 1 1/4" and top 1 1/8" on road bikes and bottom 1 1/2" and top 1 1/8" on MTB bikes) and tapered fork steerer are included for optimal steering stiffness .
The flip chip system is a two-position eccentric insert in the rear frame feet that allows you to easily change the wheelbase. A shorter wheelbase gives you a more agile nike, while setting it to a longer wheelbase improves stability at higher speeds while increasing the space for the rear tire (up to 53 mm wide).
Tubeless rims and tires have a design adapted for tubeless use, provided they are supplemented with sealant, tape and valves. Tubeless tires provide the rider with many benefits - the ability to run the tire with lower air pressure, which improves traction, lower rolling resistance compared to a tube tire, and less chance of a puncture.
