Giant Trance Advanced 29 delivers top performance thanks to its premium carbon frame and precise Maestro suspension. It is a modern trail bike that offers a combination of low weight, high stiffness and exceptional control in any terrain.
The foundation of the bike is a full carbon frame made using Advanced Composite technology, which Giant processes in its own factories from raw material to the final frame. As a result, the frame has optimal weight-to-stiffness ratio and ensures maximum pedaling efficiency and confidence in technical terrain.
The upper rocker arm of the suspension is made from carbon using the Advanced Forged Composite method, contributing to high strength and low weight of the entire system.
The Flip Chip system allows for easy geometry adjustment of the bike according to the terrain and your riding style. With the two-position inserts in the suspension rocker arm, you can easily change the head angle, seat angle, and bottom bracket height, adapting the bike to different conditions.
Low Position
Ideal for fast descents, aggressive trails, and technical sections at higher speeds. The bike gains a slacker head angle (65.5°), lower bottom bracket, and increased stability, ensuring confidence even in challenging terrain. The seat angle of 76.3° also makes climbing more efficient.
High Position
Suitable for more technical, slower XC sections where you need quicker handling and more pedal engagement. The head angle of 66.2° and seat angle of 77° improve pedaling position and facilitate maneuvering in tight corners.
High-performance raw carbon material with a high stiffness-to-weight ratio is used to produce the custom Advanced Composite material. The front triangle of the frame is assembled and molded as one continuous piece (monocoque) using a proprietary manufacturing process called Modified Monocoque Construction.
The rear suspension rocker arm is made from one piece of carbon composite. The essence is the multidirectional deposition of carbon fibers and the innovative manufacturing process of extremely high pressure shaping. The resulting product is lighter and at the same time stiffer and stronger than the same aluminum product.
Tubeless rims and tires have a design adapted for tubeless use, provided they are supplemented with sealant, tape and valves. Tubeless tires provide the rider with many benefits - the ability to run the tire with lower air pressure, which improves traction, lower rolling resistance compared to a tube tire, and less chance of a puncture.
