High performance and long range
The SyncDrive Pro Yamaha motor offers 85 Nm of torque and support up to 400%.
It is designed and tuned for riding in tougher terrain – it responds very well to the rider's torque and creates strong support even at low speeds. The integrated EnergyPak Smart battery offers a high capacity of 800 Wh, and the Smart Charger allows for very fast charging.
The bike frame is also ready for the installation of a second battery (EnergyPak Plus – optional accessory), which adds another 250 Wh.
Comfortable motor control
For comfortable motor control, the bike has two control units. A discreet RideControl Ergo 3 controller is located right at the handlebar, allowing you to switch riding modes even while riding in more challenging terrain.
On the frame, there's the RideControl Go controller, which is a multifunction button and colored LED lights indicating the selected riding mode and battery status. Additional useful features (e.g., the ability to fine-tune support in individual riding modes) are offered by the Giant RideControl mobile app.
Great suspension and adjustable geometry
The Maestro suspension is fully active and highly sensitive, making off-road riding more enjoyable and fun. This system also eliminates unwanted pedal bobbing, so you don't waste energy and ride more smoothly, faster, and with less effort. The upper suspension rocker has a so-called flip chip, which allows easy adjustment of the bike's geometry – the Low position is suitable for fast "aggressive" terrain, while the High position creates more of an XC-oriented riding position.
High-performance raw carbon material with a high stiffness-to-weight ratio is used to produce the custom Advanced Composite material. The front triangle of the frame is assembled and molded as one continuous piece (monocoque) using a proprietary manufacturing process called Modified Monocoque Construction.
Four strategically positioned pivot points and two linkages all work together to create a single floating pivot for the most active, efficient and independent suspension system on the trail.
The Flip Chip system allows you to quickly adjust the geometry of a Maestro suspension-equipped mountain bike to better suit your preferred terrain type or riding style. This is done by using the eccentric (offset, two-position ) inserts located in the upper rocker arm of the Maestro suspension, and by turning them, you change primarily the head and seat tube angles and bottom bracket height.
