More informationSome parts of this page are translated automatically, so please excuse any imperfections.
Nukeproof Megawatt 297 Carbon X0 Eagle-T is a full-suspension enduro e-bike with a mixed 29"/27.5" wheel setup and 170 mm of travel. It sits in the higher-performance e-MTB category and targets riders who prioritize downhill stability and traction on technical climbs. The build is centered around the integrated SRAM drive unit and wireless shifting within the AXS ecosystem.
The Nukeproof Megawatt 297 Carbon frame is made from a carbon composite with a UD-fiber monocoque construction and 170 mm of travel. The battery is integrated into the frame, and cable routing is handled through internal channels. The rear end uses the Boost 148 mm standard, and the design incorporates Max Bearings. Frame protection is enhanced with 3D-shaped rubber elements in high-stress zones.
Drivetrain: The shifting and rear derailleur are Sram Transmission X0 with 12 speeds in the AXS system. The Sram X0 T-Type cassette has a 10–52-tooth range, and the Sram X0 cranks are 155 mm long.
Brakes: Braking is handled by Sram Code RSC hydraulic disc brakes. The bike is intended for enduro use and is built to cope with high heat loads on descents.
Wheels and tires: Nukeproof Horizon V2 wheels use a mullet configuration with a 29" front wheel and a 27.5" rear. Continental Kryptotal tires focus on grip on both loose and hard-packed surfaces.
Cockpit: Nukeproof Horizon Carbon V2 handlebars are 780 mm wide in sizes S/M and 800 mm wide in sizes L through XXL. The RockShox Reverb AXS dropper post offers 150 to 250 mm of travel depending on frame size.
The combination of 170 mm travel and a robust frame platform is aimed at heavy loads in enduro terrain. The mullet setup increases stability and line-holding with the 29" front wheel, while the 27.5" rear makes it easier to maneuver through tight sections. The Sram Eagle Powertrain mid-drive motor with 90 Nm of torque supports smooth climbing even at low cadence. RockShox Zeb Ultimate and Vivid Select+ Air suspension is tuned for controlling travel in fast, rough sections.
This e-bike is designed for experienced riders who ride enduro tracks, technical trails, and long descents with repeated climbs. It also makes sense for heavier riders who want a stiffer frame and brakes with extra reserve. Compared to trail e-MTBs with less travel, it offers greater forgiveness at high speeds.
