The Giant Trance X Advanced E+ EL 1 is a top-tier, lightweight, powerful, and easy-to-handle full-suspension electric bike.
Be speedy both uphill and downhill. The new battery and motor significantly reduce weight and enhance performance, making the bike suitable for technical trails.
It is built on a carbon frame with a Maestro suspension system with 140 mm travel.
Excellent suspension is managed by the fork Fox 36 Performance Elite Live Valve with a travel of 150 mm and the shock Fox Float Performance Elite Live Valve. Both the fork and the shock are electronically controlled.
The drive unit is from Yamaha. The new motor SyncDrive Pro with a torque of 85 Nm delivers more power and weighs only 2.7 kg. The EnergyPak Smart battery, with its compact size, has a capacity of 400 Wh and is fully integrated into the down tube. The range can be extended by adding a second battery. There is also a Smart Assist mode that automatically adjusts motor output while riding.
The cockpit has also been upgraded, featuring new proprietary carbon handlebars with the RideControl Ergo 3 remote control mounted on them.
The twelve-speed SRAM drivetrain features the electronic GX Eagle AXS derailleur.
No expense was spared on the brakes either. The E+ EL 1 model is equipped with reliable brakes SRAM Code R with 220/200 mm rotors.
High-performance raw carbon material with a high stiffness-to-weight ratio is used to produce the custom Advanced Composite material. The front triangle of the frame is assembled and molded as one continuous piece (monocoque) using a proprietary manufacturing process called Modified Monocoque Construction.
Four strategically positioned pivot points and two linkages all work together to create a single floating pivot for the most active, efficient and independent suspension system on the trail.
The Flip Chip system allows you to quickly adjust the geometry of a Maestro suspension-equipped mountain bike to better suit your preferred terrain type or riding style. This is done by using the eccentric (offset, two-position ) inserts located in the upper rocker arm of the Maestro suspension, and by turning them, you change primarily the head and seat tube angles and bottom bracket height.
