Syntax is a sportily tailored helmet packed with modern technologies that combines an aerodynamic shape with excellent ventilation. Thanks to its versatility, it is perfectly suited for both fast flat sections and challenging hills – an ideal choice for cyclists who want one helmet for everything.
The proven Roc Loc® 5 fit system ensures a perfect fit on the head with precise adjustment options. In the MIPS technology variant, a sliding MIPS layer is integrated directly into this system, helping to reduce rotational forces on the head during oblique impacts.
The In-mold (Full Wrap) construction ensures a strong and durable bond between the shell and the liner, while the 25 ventilation holes with Wind Tunnel™ system effectively support airflow and maintain comfortable thermal conditions even during intense rides.
Comfort is ensured by the CoolFit padding and ultra-light Slimline straps, which enhance comfort without unnecessary weight increase.
Mips is a technology in the form of a special yellow insert inside the helmet, which has the task of reducing rotational forces acting on the head and brain in the event of a crash or fall while riding a bicycle. In principle, Mips works between two layers of the helmet shell, which rotate in relation to each other during a fall. This technology is being used by more and more major and minor helmet manufacturers, so if a helmet has this technology, you can tell by the small yellow logo on the outside of the helmet. Currently there are about 5 kinds of Mips system.
In-Mold technology can be found most often in bicycle and ski helmets. The principle consists in injecting compressed polystyrene into a polycarbonate shell at high temperatures and pressures (approx. 330°C). This connection ensures high strength at very low weight. Polystyrene absorbs energy in the event of an impact, but it deforms, which is why the helmet must be replaced after a major impact.
