With multiple "Best in Test" awards and years of high-level participation in the notoriously challenging Enduro World Series, it's the ultimate trail-taming machine. But how could it be improved?
The new Ripmo V3 is loaded with new features: internal storage in the downtube, a derailleur for mixed wheels, a slacker head angle, and increased coil shock compatibility.
The size adjusting capability has also been expanded, and size-specific details have been added.
Every rider deserves the same great riding experience regardless of their height or proportions. That's why the seat tube angles are size-specific, along with the suspension kinematics, ensuring maximum balance and speed for riders of all sizes. Even the chainstay length and bottom bracket height are customized for the frame size.
Ibis has added a third frame size in the middle of the bell curve to ensure proper fit. With 80% of their riders measuring between 5'5" and 6'0", they've introduced a new size called "Extra-Medium." Extra-medium (size 3) now sits in the middle of the size curve, while size 5 remains the classic XL.

With the new flip chip system, there are even more setup options - you can now use 29" or 27.5"/29" mixed (MX) wheels on all sizes without compromising the geometry. Sizes Extra Medium and above come with 29" wheels, while Small and Medium sizes come with MX wheels.
We continue to use the critically acclaimed dw-link suspension platform, known for its efficient climbing and strong downhill performance, setting the standard for modern mountain bikes.
The Ripmo model is based on the race-proven HD6 design but now has progressive damping that is friendly to coil shocks and shorter mounts, making it compatible with almost any coil.
Wheel-size-specific kinematics ensure that every size bike will climb amazingly and remain quiet and composed on challenging trails.
Thanks to the frame storage system, you can take the gear off your back and store it in the bike. The latch operates effortlessly, even in cold or muddy conditions and with gloves. The doors are waterproof, rattle-free, and robust.
In collaboration with Cotopaxi, a set of two internal bags for snacks, tools, or anything else was created. Cotopaxi is known for high-quality construction and sustainable practices; the bags are made from leftover scraps and manufacturing trimmings, making each bag colorful and unique.
