Women's affordable quality 29" full-suspension mountain bike Liv Embolden 29 1 with playful geometry and quality components.
The Embolden model line has received a new ALUXX aluminum frame - the geometry has been improved, cables are routed inside the frame, and the rear wheel now also features a thru-axle.
The single-pivot FlexPoint rear suspension offers 120 mm of travel and, with the air shock, will respond sensitively to both larger and smaller bumps. The advantage of this simple yet fully functional solution is easy maintenance (fewer pivots mean fewer bearings). The air suspension fork provides 140 mm of travel.
Thanks to the dropper post operated from the handlebars, riding downhill or on playful singletracks will be more fun and safer. Better bike handling is also ensured by wider handlebars and a shorter stem. Wider tires will give you more confidence, and the wheels are also tubeless-ready, which offers better riding qualities and reduced risk of punctures.
The Taiwanese company founded in 1972 focusing on bicycles began manufacturing them first in its home country of Taiwan and then in Europe, North America and other countries. Today, Giant is one of the largest bicycle manufacturers worldwide, their bikes can be found in professional cycling, but they don't forget about amateur riders. Giant also has its own section of bikes for women - Liv. Liv is the women's leg of Giant. A bike for women, by women, tested by women. That's a motto that's not just a marketing decoy. The Liv has a different frame from the men's Giant bikes and is a stable of women's profipeloton.
This Performance level frame material features 6061 alloy with single-butted tubes to produce strong, lightweight framesets for a variety of different bikes and riding styles.
A proven “single-pivot” design that uses the flexing action of the chainstay/seatstay junction to produce a lightweight and durable suspension system with 4.7 inches/120mm of rear travel. The FlexPoint reacts sensitively to large and small bumps through the air shock.
Tubeless rims and tires have a design adapted for tubeless use, provided they are supplemented with sealant, tape and valves. Tubeless tires provide the rider with many benefits - the ability to run the tire with lower air pressure, which improves traction, lower rolling resistance compared to a tube tire, and less chance of a puncture. We can most often come across names such as Tubeless Ready (TR or TLR), Tubeless Easy (TLE) or Tubeless Compatible (TC), etc. Despite different branding from manufacturers, the essence of the system is the same.
