The high-capacity, lightweight EnergyPak Smart 400 battery is integrated into the frame. The range can be extended with an optional EnergyPak Plus 200 battery. The automatic Smart Assist mode makes riding easier and conserves energy.

The SyncDrive Pro 2 is the most powerful motor for Giant and Liv e-bikes. What makes SyncDrive motors absolutely exceptional is the use of 6 sensors. Inclination detection and acceleration or deceleration (called accelerometer) are 2 sensors used only in SyncDrive powered by Yamaha motors. The result, in Smart Assist automatic mode, is a very smooth and natural ride with plenty of power for the situation and type of terrain. Of course, energy efficiency is also optimized for the rider and the battery itself. Using a modified version of the engine (there has been a substantial weight reduction of more than 20% as well as an increase in power of 5 Nm).
