The Rove E+ model is equipped with a mid-drive motor SyncDrive Core by Yamaha, providing ample power for a comfortable ride. With the help of a lithium EnergyPak 400 battery, you have enough energy for longer trips. Rove E+ is built on an ALUXX aluminum alloy frame, featuring a modern design and internal cable routing. Its geometry is carefully designed to offer excellent maneuverability and a very comfortable ride. The battery is located on the lower frame tube and is easily removable to the side.
The Yamaha SyncDrive Core motor boasts a torque of 50 Nm and support up to 300%, which are optimal values for this particular bike. Thanks to these, lower energy consumption is achieved from the 400 Wh EnergyPak battery. In addition to five riding modes with preset support levels, there is also a fully automatic Smart Assist mode, in which the system decides how much support the motor will provide.
Riding over rough terrain will be much more pleasant thanks to the suspension fork with a 63 mm travel. For extra confidence on rougher roads, there are Giant CrossCut Gravel tires sized 700x45c. The braking performance is high, and braking can be smoothly modulated thanks to hydraulic disc brakes. If you enjoy taking longer trips, you can also attach a rear rack to the bike, and there is also provision on the frame for installing a kickstand.
State-of-the-art aluminum material is made predominantly from 6011 alloy and delivers best-in-class strength-to-weight ratios. These framesets also feature unique welding technologies for a high-performance ride quality.
The SyncDrive Core is a compact and lightweight motor that is ideal for city riding or recreational riding in the countryside, for example. The motor is tuned for 50 Nm of torque and a maximum boost of 300%, which are optimum values for the purpose of this motor and also help to reduce battery power consumption. There's no need to select a specific driving mode, you can fully rely on the automatic mode and drive in exactly the same way you're used to, but with more power. The result is an extremely comfortable, quiet and natural driving experience.

SyncDrive Core is Giant's entry-level line of electric bike motors. It's the ideal option for urban or trekking e-bikes that you ride on moderately profiled terrain. Smart Assist technology includes six sensors including incline and acceleration/deceleration detection (called accelerometer). These sensors allow the motor to produce power based on rider input and the type of terrain the rider is currently navigating.
