The Maxxis Shorty is an MTB tire suitable for trails, enduro, and DH, with a tubeless option, ideal for dry-flat and wet-rough terrain.
Wide Trail (WT) designates suitability for wide rims of 30-35 mm.
The tread pattern for the 2021 tire was revamped to enhance wet grip, cornering performance, and mud shedding capability. The narrower 2.40" tire improves frame and fork clearance and reduces weight.
The 3C MaxxTerra compound offers greater traction than 3C MaxxSpeed, while providing better treadwear and lower rolling resistance than MaxxGrip, making it ideal for trail riding in all conditions.
The material with EXO protection is resistant to cuts and abrasions. This densely woven fabric is lightweight and highly flexible, ensuring the tire's performance remains unaffected. Choose EXO Protection for increased durability in gravel, XC, and light trail riding.
