On a frosty morning when you clip into your skis, you’ll appreciate the peace of mind that comes from clothing that keeps you warm without restricting movement. Ortovox Venet Softshell Pants will support you on the climb as well as on a windy ridge. The blue Blue Nunatak version also looks clean and sporty.
The windproof and water-repellent design helps maintain steady comfort when the weather suddenly turns during ski touring. The material remains breathable, so you won’t overheat unnecessarily on the ascent.
Merino wool next to the skin feels pleasant to the touch and supports a balanced microclimate when you alternate between effort and rest. Thanks to this, the pants are comfortable to wear even on longer tours.
Elastic inserts increase freedom of movement when sitting, in the crotch, and on the back of the thighs. The anatomically shaped knee area contributes to a natural stride and confidence on traverses.
Practical details make the day in the mountains easier, whether you’re dealing with layering or changing boots. The adjustable waist and zip leg-width adjustment adapt to the situation at hand.
The pants weigh 365 g, so they don’t add unnecessary load in your backpack.
The main material consists of 79% recycled polyamide, 11% virgin merino wool, and 10% elastane.
The inserts consist of 75% recycled polyamide, 15% virgin merino wool, and 10% elastane.
There are 2 front pockets, so small essentials are always within easy reach.
The men’s Ortovox Venet Softshell Pants Blue Nunatak are built for winter ski touring, where every step counts. They combine a durable softshell with merino on the inside and stretchy zones for natural movement. The result is a functional piece you can rely on for a short afternoon tour as well as a weekend climb.
