The new generation of P Zero Race TLR tires brings further innovations to one of the most popular models on the market.
The new, enhanced construction focuses on reducing rolling resistance, which is a key parameter for bicycle tires.
One of the main innovations is a thin airtight layer with aramid particles, called SPEEDCore, which covers the inside of the tire. The increased flexibility of this rubber compound makes the tire faster and more durable.
The tire's carcass is reinforced with a 120 TPI nylon fabric and an aramid protection belt that prevents punctures. The tread pattern is made from the state-of-the-art SmartEVO rubber compound, ensuring maximum performance. All these innovative elements of the new P Zero Race TLR are manufactured in Italy with an emphasis on quality and outstanding performance.
The primary use of the tire is for performance and endurance bicycles, marginally for time trial bikes, and it is suited for the spring, summer, autumn, and occasionally winter seasons.
The SmartEVO compound developed by Pirelli uses a blend of 3 different polymers, each providing specific properties to achieve an optimal balance of opposing properties such as grip and rolling resistance.
