P ZERO Race TLR is one of the fastest road tires from this brand. It uses the smartEVO compound.
It provides low rolling resistance while maintaining excellent handling and control at high speeds in both dry and wet conditions. This new technology was developed thanks to Pirelli’s experience with rubber compounds for racing tires and has made it possible to reduce rolling resistance, improving the tire’s smooth ride feel.
P ZERO Race TLR uses the new SPEEDCore technology, which reinforces the tire casing with aramid fibers and thus increases puncture resistance. At the same time, it maintains low rolling resistance.
This tire can also be used with a tubeless system.
The SmartEVO compound developed by Pirelli uses a blend of 3 different polymers, each providing specific properties to achieve an optimal balance of opposing properties such as grip and rolling resistance. The most powerful tubeless road construction with a unique design that adds an aramid insert to the rubber layer of the tire. This new structure adds strength and support to the tire, but maintains lower stiffness for minimal rolling resistance and maximum grip compared to tires with Bead to Bead aramid construction.
