The fastest road tyre in the P ZERO™ Race family was designed with a single goal – to push the limits of speed. The SL-R model combines top-tier aerodynamics, ultra-low rolling resistance, and precise handling, making it the ideal choice for racing and time trials.
The key to its performance is the innovative PAAS technology (Pirelli Advanced Aerodynamic System), which optimizes airflow around the tyre and rim. The result is lower aerodynamic drag and a “sailing” effect that can save you up to 5–15 watts at higher speeds.
An exceptionally light and supple ride feel is delivered by the LiteCORE construction, Pirelli’s most advanced tubeless (TLR) casing. It provides not only minimal rolling resistance, but also greater comfort and better contact with the road. The SmartEVO2 compound, developed from motorsport, then ensures excellent grip and control in both dry and wet conditions.
