HardWALL

Tire construction technology with a protective layer from bead to bead and a rubber insert for aggressive off-road riding. Tire construction specifically designed for riding style in challenging terrain – several reinforcements built directly into the tire casing are intended to enhance the overall resistance of the casing as well as allow for more support when using lower pressures. With a nylon protective layer from bead to bead, which is an integral part of the casing, and a thick rubber insert over the bead, the HardWALL construction is destined to handle relentless abuse with ease and prevent punctures. Incorporating these reinforcing elements together with a nylon casing of 60 TPI density contributes to a solid and durable construction that supports reliability and ride quality without compromising weight and pedaling power transfer efficiency.

SmartGRIP

Experience and victories in rally and motocross led Pirelli developers to invent the innovative SmartGRIP rubber compound. The special compound combines two opposing qualities:
a) Cut-resistant durability: guarantees maximum mechanical grip and traction in dry conditions and higher puncture resistance, along with longer lifespan.
b) Chemical grip in the wet: no need to worry about changing conditions, whether it’s rain or muddy and slippery sections on the track.

The result is extended tire performance lifespan with excellent grip. The tire maintains these performance characteristics even as the tread wears down. The single compound formulation of SmartGRIP allows for consistent performance throughout the tire's wear. Greater mechanical durability of the rubber also provides higher resistance not only against wear but also against punctures.
