Poc Fornix is one of the most popular helmets from POC in recent years. It is very lightweight, offers excellent ventilation, and is also very safe.
The ventilation system can be regulated. The EPS core is very well-designed in shape. The top of the core is protected by an aramid layer, which protects during falls and disperses the energy generated during a fall.
Thanks to the adjustable sizing feature, this helmet can be very well adapted to the skier's head size. Another feature is the MIPS technology. The goal of this technology is to eliminate rotational forces that act on the head in the event of a fall and subsequent impact on the slope. Upon impact at any angle, the MIPS system allows the EPS shell of the helmet to rotate independently around the head. Although this movement is only in the order of a few millimeters, we believe that MIPS technology significantly reduces the amount of rotational force that would otherwise be transferred to the brain.
