POC Kortal Race MIPS is a high-end MTB helmet that combines innovative safety technologies with comfort for long days on the trails.
Thanks to the MIPS Integra system, it helps protect the brain from rotational forces during falls, while the extended protection zone on the temples and nape provides a higher level of safety.
The helmet is compatible with goggles and features a detachable visor with adjustment function for maximum visibility.
It includes an integrated NFC Medical ID chip twICEme®, which can provide rescuers with important medical information in case of an accident.
Kortal Race offers excellent ventilation even at lower speeds and is also ready for e-MTB – it meets the requirements for the NTA 8776 standard.
Mips is a technology in the form of a special yellow insert inside the helmet, which has the task of reducing rotational forces acting on the head and brain in the event of a crash or fall while riding a bicycle. In principle, Mips works between two layers of the helmet shell, which rotate in relation to each other during a fall.
