POC Omne Ultra MIPS is designed for gravel adventures, where not only safety matters, but also functionality and adaptability.
The helmet features MIPS Integra technology, which increases protection against rotational impacts, while the lightweight EPS liner and polycarbonate shell ensure a high level of safety while keeping the weight low.
The integrated 360° fit system allows for precise size adjustment and a comfortable fit on the head.
On the helmet’s outer surface, you’ll find attachments, straps, and hook-and-loop fasteners for securing various accessories – from a rain cover to an ID tag.
An additional level of safety is provided by the integrated RECCO® reflector, which helps rescuers easily locate you in the event of an accident or emergency.
Mips is a technology in the form of a special yellow insert inside the helmet, which has the task of reducing rotational forces acting on the head and brain in the event of a crash or fall while riding a bicycle. In principle, Mips works between two layers of the helmet shell, which rotate in relation to each other during a fall. This technology is being used by more and more major and minor helmet manufacturers, so if a helmet has this technology, you can tell by the small yellow logo on the outside of the helmet. Currently there are about 5 kinds of Mips system.
EPS is expanded polystyrene. It is a strong and rigid material with a cellular structure, composed of 2% polystyrene and the rest is air.

This chip system has been used by more than 150 brands of jackets, pants, backpacks, pads, helmets and many other equipment.
