Bicycle Helmet R2 Lumen Junior for Young Cyclists.
The helmet features an In-Mold construction with an extended back for maximum head protection.
It is equipped with an LED light on the back, which is a great safety feature and enhances the cyclist's visibility in traffic. It can be turned on or off with one hand without the need to stop.
The helmet has 23 ventilation holes, an internal insect net, and an antibacterial lining.
The adjustment system adapts to the shape and size of the head in two axes - vertical and horizontal. The fastening system is operated with one hand using a tightening wheel.
The Easy Lock system is a simple and quick fastening system for the chin straps, which improves the helmet's fit on the head. The system reduces the risk of helmet movement upon impact, thereby achieving increased head protection.
Weight: S: 240 g
In-Mold technology can be found most often in bicycle and ski helmets. The principle consists in injecting compressed polystyrene into a polycarbonate shell at high temperatures and pressures (approx. 330°C). This connection ensures high strength at very low weight. Polystyrene absorbs energy in the event of an impact, but it deforms, which is why the helmet must be replaced after a major impact. Helmets produced by In-Mold technology and associated have a weight of 350-550 g.
