The R2 Pump is a helmet designed for young cyclists aged 2 - 4 years.
The helmet's construction is made with In-mold technology, featuring 15 ventilation holes for air circulation. The helmet also includes X-Protect technology, which provides reinforced sections for added safety.
The Dual Fix size regulation system ensures a perfect fit on the head.
The helmet features an internal insect net, Easy Lock fastening, and an antibacterial removable liner.
The helmet's durability is certified for safety according to CE EN 1078 standards.
Weight: 220 g
In-Mold technology can be found most often in bicycle and ski helmets. The principle consists in injecting compressed polystyrene into a polycarbonate shell at high temperatures and pressures (approx. 330°C). This connection ensures high strength at very low weight. Polystyrene absorbs energy in the event of an impact, but it deforms, which is why the helmet must be replaced after a major impact. Helmets produced by In-Mold technology and associated have a weight of 350-550 g.
