Raymon Airok Comp full-suspension electric bike floridplum/sulfur

Description

Raymon Airok Comp floridplum/sulfur is a full-suspension e-bike in the e-MTB category, designed for trail riding and longer off-road trips. In terms of design, it targets riders who want motor assistance without losing control in technical sections. In terms of spec, it sits in the mid-performance class, where the balance between suspension function and component choice is key.

Frame and geometry

The frame uses a full-suspension platform designed for use with an integrated battery and a mid-drive motor. The concept focuses on trail geometry, with an emphasis on stability on descents and confidence at speed. The rear end is built to handle the higher loads typical of e-MTBs and features internal cable routing. The overall setup is designed for modern components, including a dropper seatpost and wide tires.

Components

Drivetrain: The shifters and cassette are from the Shimano mountain bike range. The setup uses a 1x drivetrain with a wide gear range for riding up steep climbs.

Brakes: The hydraulic disc brakes are sized for the higher weight of an e-MTB and longer descents. The rotors are chosen with an emphasis on thermal stability.

Wheels and tires: The wheels use a mountain bike standard with a focus on spoke strength and rim durability. The tires are selected for a trail tread pattern and cornering support.

Cockpit: Wider handlebars improve control in technical terrain and at higher speeds. The dropper seatpost makes it easier to manage your center of gravity on steep descents.

Ride characteristics

Full suspension improves rear-wheel traction on loose climbs and reduces losses over roots. Trail geometry provides calmer line-holding in faster sections and when braking through rough terrain. The integrated drive unit keeps mass low, which helps in tight corners and when leaning the bike over. The combination of wide tires and active suspension promotes predictable behavior on wet rocks and in choppy descents.

Who it’s for

Raymon Airok Comp floridplum/sulfur is designed for experienced riders who ride trails, forest singletrack, and technical climbs on changing surfaces. It’s also suitable for sporty rides in hilly terrain, where traction and consistent brake modulation are the priority. Within the e-MTB category, it targets riders who want a versatile trail platform without a race-focused setup.
