Rock Machine Storm 20 VB kids’ bike Sulfur Yellow is a children’s mountain bike with 20" wheels for first rides off-road and regular family outings. It sits in an affordable performance category where easy maintenance and practical spec are key. The concept targets riders who already know how to shift and ride beyond the pavement.
The frame is made from an aluminium alloy and is built to withstand typical falls and everyday wear. Front suspension is handled by the RST Capa fork with 50 mm travel to smooth out bumps on gravel and forest paths. The CH290TBW headset is 1-1/8", which matches the standard for kids’ MTBs in this category. The overall build focuses on stability and easy handling at lower speeds.
Drivetrain: Shimano TY SL-RV200-6R RevoShift shifters work with 6 speeds. The microSHIFT RD-M21SS rear derailleur is paired with a Shimano MF-TZ500-6 14–28-tooth cassette and a Thun Ibex 120 mm BSA bottom bracket.
Brakes: Stopping is handled by Tektro J310 rim brakes. Adjustment is mechanical and straightforward to service for everyday use.
Wheels and tyres: The wheels use Stars J19SD rims and One1 KTA55F and One1 KTA52R hubs with quick releases. WTB Freedom Challenger tyres in 20×1,95" are aimed at mixed surfaces.
Cockpit: One1 Hi-ten handlebars are 560 mm wide with 10° backsweep. The One1 MAS-MD60368 Alloy stem is complemented by a Selle Royal Junior saddle and a One1 Alloy 27.2 mm seatpost.
The aluminium frame delivers a direct steering response and handles frequent accelerating and braking well. The 20×1,95" tyres add confidence on gravel and roots thanks to their higher volume. The 50 mm travel fork helps keep the front wheel in contact with the ground on rough tracks. The 6-speed gearing with a 14–28-tooth range is suitable for gentler climbs and smooth riding on flat terrain.
This bike is intended for kids moving to a multi-speed drivetrain who want to ride off the pavement. It’s well suited to forest paths, gravel, and urban crossings, where simple equipment and easy servicing make sense. Compared with kids’ bikes with a single gear, it offers wider use across more varied route profiles.
