The men's MTN Trainer 2 Leather shoes were designed in Montebelluna, a small town at the foot of the Dolomites.
The durable upper features a full protective rubber rand ensuring 360° abrasion resistance in rocky terrain. The inner lining of high-quality, soft, and breathable cowhide leather absorbs moisture well. Additionally, the leather molds to your foot and is very comfortable to wear - especially in warm weather, although it dries somewhat slower compared to synthetic materials.
The enhanced sole construction ensures a more comfortable and flexible fit, while the PU midsole provides long-lasting shock absorption and elasticity. The multifunctional Vibram Mtn Trainer Evo sole ensures stability and agility, and its deep self-cleaning grooves and aggressive tread guarantee good grip on rock, scree, mud, and grass.
Under the center of the foot is a special zone for via Ferrata stepping with specific rectangular lugs that maximize force exerted through the foot and ensure better grip on the rungs of iron ladders compared to regular shoes.
The 3F System connects the instep area to the sole and heel, ensuring flexibility, proper fit, and support. The lacing system with fine-tuning capability in the toe area provides higher precision during climbing.
The protective elastic gaiter prevents rain and ground water from penetrating.
The padded OrthoLite footbed wicks moisture away and, along with the leather lining, helps keep your feet dry and comfortable.
Vibram is a manufacturer and brand of the most widely used rubber compound for the production of soles of various types of footwear, founded in 1937. To maintain the high standards of Vibram, each and every sole model undergoes a series of rigorous tests. The basic characteristics of Vibram soles are their abrasion resistance and grip, which are functional in a wide variety of climatic conditions. OrthoLite® shoe insoles. These are high quality and above all comfortable insoles combining two types of support material. The front part is made up of special OrthoLite® foam, which is breathable, has good "cushioning" capabilities (keeps the foot in place without the risk of unwanted movement in the shoe). It has the advantage of antibacterial properties that prevent microorganisms from attacking the stressed foot and preventing odour. The back part under the heel is made of strong EVA foam, which effectively cushions the foot and prevents blisters.
