An even lighter outdoor shoe designed for three-season use – ideal for more demanding hikes and long backpacking trips in any weather and across varied terrain. It performs great on rock as well.
The upper made from TPU-coated fabric is highly abrasion-resistant and includes suede inserts for added stability. Combined with GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort, it provides lasting waterproof protection while maintaining breathability and comfort.
The 3F protection system connects the instep, sole and heel, ensuring a comfortable, supportive and flexible fit. This is further enhanced by the shock-absorbing EVA midsole, which provides long-lasting cushioning and resilience. For additional stability and protection, there is a flexible ankle cuff, a heel stabilizer and rubber toe protection.
The toe-to-the-tip lacing system allows fine-tuning for greater precision in technical terrain. The Pomoca outsole with a tread pattern featuring deep lugs and grooves guarantees versatility across a wide range of terrain – from mud and grass to rock, ice and snow.
The Salewa 3F System connects the instep area of the shoe with the sole and heel, promoting flexibility, support and proper fit where needed.
Gore-Tex is a registered brand with a history dating back to 1958, often associated with waterproof fabrics. The Gore-Tex material consists of a narrow porous membrane made of expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (Teflon), which is laminated between other textiles, most often nylon or polyester. EVA, literally Ethylene-vinyl acetate is also known as Polyethylene-vinyl acetate i.e. PEVA. It is a copolymer of ethylene and vinyl acetate, as the name suggests. The weight of the vinyl acetate component is in the range of 10 to 40% and the remainder is ethylene itself. Its physical properties is as an elastomeric polymer, i.e. a substance that excels in high elasticity. Thanks to its unique composition, it ranks among the most light yet flexible and soft materials. It is therefore not a classic thermoplastic, which is often commonly used for the production of many products around us.
