At race pace, every meter counts—and you want a tire that rolls fast yet holds its line through corners. Schwalbe Rick XC PRO Addix SpeedGrip TLR 29x2,40 gives your bike confidence even when the course turns treacherous.
Fast rolling and reliable traction are tuned for XC racing, where even tenths of a second matter. The tire was developed in collaboration with Olympic silver medalist Mathias Flückiger.
The Addix SpeedGrip compound grips on roots and hardpack without feeling sluggish. That means you can keep your pace on long climbs as well as on the flats.
A reinforced transition area between the center and side knobs helps protect against cuts near the rim. In practice, that means fewer worries when riding through rocks and sharp edges.
The tubeless-ready design with TLR technology supports stable line control and lets you take advantage of a tubeless system. It’s ideal for riders who want a blend of speed and control.
The tire size is 29x2,40 inches for modern XC and trail bikes.
The ETRTO size is 62-622 for a 29-inch rim diameter.
The recommended pressure is 3.5 bar, i.e., 50 PSI.
