Smith Forefront 3 MIPS Helmet is a top-of-the-line model designed for demanding mountain and trail riding.
Thanks to the combination of innovative KOROYD® technology with a fully integrated MIPS® Air Node system, it provides maximum protection not only against direct hits but also rotational impacts.
The new BOA® Fit system ensures precise and comfortable adjustment of the circumference without uncomfortable pressure points.
Forefront 3 also excels in ventilation – 20 ventilation openings and a central cooling channel offer 25% higher airflow than the previous generation, while the AirEvac™ technology prevents the goggles from fogging up.
Practical details like a three-position visor, integrated glasses mounts at the front and back, and preparation for camera or light mounting make it a versatile companion for every ride.
The Koroyd system consists of thousands of co-polymer extruded tubes that are heat welded to form a unique, consistent and fully engineered core. This technology can be integrated into products ranging from action sports equipment to industrial protection and child car seats. Mips is a technology in the form of a special yellow insert inside the helmet, which has the task of reducing rotational forces acting on the head and brain in the event of a crash or fall while riding a bicycle. AirEvac is a patented ventilation system that works with the ventilation holes on the Smith glasses, they have a constant flow of air through the entire system. Ventilation in the front of the helmet brings cool, dry air into strategically placed channels in the helmet shell. Vents on the top and back of the shell are used to exhaust hot air that would otherwise be trapped around the wearer's head. This airflow contributes to a more comfortable riding experience and also helps prevent the glasses from fogging up.
