SRAM Maven Base are hydraulic disc brakes designed for the most demanding mountain bikes, pushing the limits of speed, control, and rider confidence to a new level. With the extreme performance of the four-piston caliper featuring 18 mm diameter pistons and precise temperature management, braking power is consistent even in the most challenging conditions.
The brake lever is equipped with Directlink technology, which precisely and smoothly transfers force from the rider's hand to the disc, ensuring perfect modulation and control. The robust caliper construction with improved access to mounting bolts allows for easy maintenance and quick pad replacement.
The brakes come standard with steel organic pads, ensuring maximum modulation and quiet operation. Thanks to the lever's stealth design and tool-free reach adjustment, the brakes can be perfectly adapted to meet every rider's needs. Compatibility with Maxima Mineral Brake Oil and the Bleeding Edge bleeding system enables simple, mess-free maintenance.
