Superior F.L.Y. 27 27.5x13.0” GLOSS MINT is a junior mountain bike designed for everyday riding both off-road and on paved roads. It belongs to the performance class of lightweight kids’ MTBs, with an emphasis on easy handling and low weight. It’s built around a simple 1×9 drivetrain and hydraulic disc brakes.
The frame is made from Alu 6061 T6 Double Butted aluminium alloy and uses Advanced Junior Geometry with a lowered top tube. The 1xOptimized concept is designed around a single chainring and clean chain routing. The bottom bracket is BSA threaded and features internal cable routing for better protection. The disc brake mount is Flat mount, as on the rigid aluminium fork as well.
Drivetrain: Shimano CUES SL-U4050-9R shifting runs in a 1×9 setup with the RD-U4010 rear derailleur. The CS-LG300 cassette offers an 11–36T range, and the bottom bracket is a Thun Topaz with a BSA thread.
Brakes: Alhonga HJ-372F hydraulic disc brakes use 160 mm rotors front and 160 mm rear. The levers are designed to be easily reachable for junior-sized hands.
Wheels and tires: STARS J20S wheelset has 28 holes, and the ONE Sport hubs use quick releases. Schwalbe Smart Sam Performance tires in 27.5×2.10" with the ADDIX compound are aimed at versatile use.
