The progressive lever mechanism builds braking force smoothly, so you can modulate delicately while still having reserve for hard deceleration. On longer descents, you’ll appreciate that the power doesn’t feel nervous.
Kevlar hoses and a stiff 7075 aluminum construction deliver a clearly defined bite that doesn’t fade even in rough terrain. The brake feels more direct than you’re used to.
The polymer piston in the master cylinder reduces friction and ensures a light, refined lever action. Your fingers stiffen less, even when you brake often.
The four-piston CNC caliper with stainless pistons retracts evenly, keeping lever travel consistent. You’ll notice it on the track and when riding in mud.
Intended for EX / AM / Trail / XC, for riding from marathons to tougher descents.
