4Ever Melody 29 women’s mountain bike Matt/Black is a hardtail for mountain biking focused on recreational and fitness riding off-road. The 2026 model year targets the affordable performance class, where functional components and straightforward geometry matter most. It rolls on 29" wheels and a 2x8 drivetrain for a wide gear range.
The frame is made from 6061 aluminum alloy in the ALU NEW WM SHAPE ICR specification, with internal cable routing. The women’s geometry combines the stability of 29" wheels with a 442 mm chainstay length in both sizes. The bike is available in 16" (S) and 18" (M), with recommended rider heights of 155–165 cm and 165–178 cm. Reach is 386 mm for S and 406 mm for M, while stack is 613 mm for both sizes.
Drivetrain: SHIMANO ACERA SL-M315 shifters operate in a 2x8 setup with a SHIMANO ACERA RD-M3020 rear derailleur. The SHIMANO CS-HG31 11-34T cassette is paired with SHIMANO FC-M315-2 36/22T cranks and a VP BSA 68 bottom bracket.
Brakes: SHIMANO BR-MT200 hydraulic disc brakes use SHIMANO BL-MT200 levers. The rotors measure 180 mm front and 160 mm rear.
Wheels and tires: The wheelset is built on MACH1 rims with SHIMANO HB-TX505 and SHIMANO FH-TX505 hubs. SCHWALBE Smart Sam tires in 29x2,1" are aimed at versatile use on gravel and lighter trails.
Cockpit: EXCLUSIVE sand blasted handlebars are 720 mm wide and are paired with an EXCLUSIVE sand blasted stem. A 4E saddle is complemented by an EXCLUSIVE sand blasted seatpost, and the pedals are UNION SP.
The combination of 29" wheels and a 70° head angle increases stability at higher speeds and on descents over rough ground. The SR SUNTOUR XCM fork with 100 mm of travel helps keep the bike on line over roots and rocks. The 36/22T double chainring and 11-34T cassette make it easier to choose the right cadence on longer climbs. The 442 mm rear end supports balanced weight distribution during climbs and braking.
4Ever Melody 29 is designed for cyclists who want a hardtail for forest roads, gravel, and lighter singletrack. It will appeal to riders who prefer the wider 2x8 gear range over a 1x setup. Within the affordable women’s 29" hardtail segment, it relies on proven Shimano parts and versatile Smart Sam tires.
