When an e-bike drive unit fits the frame precisely, the ride feels calmer and the whole bike is more stable. Bosch bushing kit, narrow is a small part that can make a big difference to the feel of every pedal stroke.

Main benefits

This set of frame bushings is designed for installing Bosch drive units with a narrow mount. It helps achieve correct motor seating in the frame and clean alignment of the mounting points.

The new mounting solution replaces the previously used frame inserts with more modern bushings. At the same time, it maintains compatibility with units that were originally fitted with inserts.

Replacement is straightforward and makes sense during servicing, a frame rebuild, or when addressing wear at the drive unit mounting area. The result is a more secure installation and a lower risk of inaccuracies when tightening.

For proper function, the bushings must be installed exclusively with the corresponding screw set EB1190002F for narrow bushings. This keeps you aligned with the recommended procedure and ensures consistent installation.

Drive compatibility: BDU31YY, BDU34YY and BDU38YY in the narrow-mount version.

Conclusion

Bosch bushing kit, narrow is a precisely targeted replacement part for correct installation of a Bosch drive unit into a frame with a narrow mount. It’s suitable for servicing as well as upgrading the mounting concept on supported units.

If you’re dealing with compatibility and clean motor seating in the frame, this bushing set offers a clear, systematic solution. Thanks to backward compatibility, it also fits older builds that previously used inserts.
