Cannondale Moterra Carbon 2 full-suspension e-bike Matte Black (BBQ) is a trail and all-mountain e-MTB with 29" wheels. It’s built around a Bosch mid-drive motor and travel suited to technical descents as well as long climbs. Its spec targets a higher performance tier for riders who care about the motor, suspension, and capable components.
The frame is made from a carbon composite with a 29" wheel platform and 150 mm of rear travel. The suspension uses Proportional Response Tuned Suspension, so the kinematics and damping are tuned to the frame size. The battery is removable from the downtube and protected by an aluminum cover. Internal cable routing, a UDH hanger, and a 148x12 mm rear thru-axle are all included.
Drivetrain: Shifting is handled by Shimano Deore Di2 M6250 with 11 speeds and a wireless controller. The Shimano Deore Di2 M6260 rear derailleur works with a Shimano CUES LG700 LinkGlide 11-50 cassette.
Brakes: Magura Louise Elite hydraulic disc brakes use four-piston calipers. The MDR-S rotors measure 203/203 mm and are 2.0 mm thick.
Wheels and tires: WTB ST i30 Tough TCS rims have a 30 mm internal width and are tubeless-ready. Continental Kryptotal-F and Kryptotal-R tires come in 29x2.4".
Cockpit: Cannondale 3 riser handlebars in 6061 aluminum are 800 mm wide with a 25 mm rise. The Cannondale DownLow Dropper seatpost has internal routing and travel matched to the frame size.
The combination of 29" wheels and 160/150 mm travel gives the bike a stable, trail-focused feel in rough terrain. The RockShox ZEB Select fork with a Charger RC damper maintains support under higher loads and on steep sections. Proportional Response tuning keeps the suspension feel consistent across sizes. The Bosch Performance Line CX motor helps you maintain pace on climbs and on technical surfaces.
The bike is designed for experienced riders who want a full-suspension e-bike for trails, rocky descents, and long rides with lots of elevation gain. With electronic shifting and four-piston brakes, it’s aimed at riders who prefer precise control off-road. Compared to lighter trail e-bikes with a smaller battery, it prioritizes range and travel.
