However, this has changed with the arrival of the new EP8 and EP6 motors. The EP8 makes the most torque like most of the competition at 85Nm. The engine offers a quieter , more compact operation and less resistance when pedalling. Compared to the competition, the EP8 is the most compact in terms of size and allows for the most customizable assists of any motor brand offered - all through the Shimano E-Tube app .
