Thanks to the fastening system ROC Loc AIR, borrowed from MTB models, the helmet is excellently ventilated even on the forehead. You can confidently pair the Montaro helmet with motocross goggles, which fit the helmet perfectly, and you can also expect an adjustable visor and a Go-Pro camera mount.
Helmet sizing system. It's most easily identified by the simple and effective rear thumb-turn knob, which improved fit over the older two-button system and allowed Giro to reduce weight. Despite its minimalist design, the Roc Loc 5 is durable.
In-Mold technology can be found most often in bicycle and ski helmets. The principle consists in injecting compressed polystyrene into a polycarbonate shell at high temperatures and pressures (approx. 330°C). This connection ensures high strength at very low weight.
